How do I make a contribution to my account?
- You will issue a check or wire to your Madison IRA using the Delivery Instructions.
- You will provide Madison with a Deposit Information form. In Section B, you will select “Annual Contribution”.
What is the contribution limit for 2022?
For 2022, your total contributions to all of your Traditional and Roth IRAs cannot be more than:
- $6,000 ($7,000 if you’re age 50 or older), or
- your taxable compensation for the year, if your compensation was less than this dollar limit.
What is the deadline to make contributions?
Your tax return filing deadline (not including extensions). For example, you can make 2021 IRA contributions until April 18, 2022.
Does Madison Trust report contributions to the IRS?
Yes, your contribution will be reported to the IRS on Form 5498 for the relevant tax year.
